Why do I need to do this kind of courses/ trainings?
In order to work in some specific industries, you will need to know some related Australian legislation. Different certifications are pre requisites to be able to work in bars, pubs, restaurants and building sites. For many of these courses we can offer you, our clients, an exclusive discounted price (see the table below).
Are hospitality jobs different from other jobs?
Most of the students find their job in hospitality industry which is in some ways specific:
- In the hospitality industry you can find jobs that pay the most out of all the unskilled labour sectors; you can even increase your wage with tips.
- If you would like to work in this sector, your previous working experiences and all written recommendations from similar jobs will be highly valuable.
- To work in hospitality you must attend some of the following short trainings (see table on this page).
What are other jobs where students often work?
Cleaning - many students find their first job in the cleaning. Because
- the knowledge of English is not so important in these jobs,
- the timetable is often suitable for students (very early hours in the morning or late in the afternoon), so they can attend their school at the same time.
Jobs in shops and supermarkets - you can usually choose different workshifts (only afternoon, or mornings, only some days etc.)

| RSA Responsible Service of Alcohol |
You need certificate Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) if you would like to work in places where alcohol is served. RSA is a mandatory course for all liquor serving staff. You will get this certificate after attending 1-day training. |
| RCG Responsible Conduct of Gambling |
In the case you would like to work in places with gambling machines, you need another certificate: Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG). RCG is a mandatory course for all gambling machines operating staff. You can get this certificate after attending 1-day training. |
| Pubskills |
1-day (6 hours) course; you will learn all essential skills to work in a bar, for eg. how to control cash and credit card transactions, use POS, pour beer, make mixed drinks and cocktails or deal with difficult customers. You must have RSA certificate and be at least 18 years old. |
Barista Skills

You will learn the “coffee art” in practical barista 1-day (6 hours) course. This course is based on today’s demanding coffee society and will empower you with the skills & knowledge you need to deliver a high quality coffee. |
Greencard (White Card)

1-day (6 hours); this course will enable you to work on a building site in NSW, as it is required that everyone holds a current Occupational Health & Safety Certificate or “Green Card”, as it is known in the industry. |
| Traffic Control RTA Approved |
1-day (6 hours); you must completed “Green Card” course before this course. This course is an effective method in training staff who are required to use a STOP/SLOW sign. This course meet all necessary legal obligation for this job. |
| Senior First Aid Workcover Approved |
1-day (7 hours) course where you will learn the principals of First Aid, D.R.A.B.C Actin Plan, Casualty Assessment, Cardio-Pulmonary-Resuscitation and the treatment for possible accidents (fractures and dislocations, fainting, spinal injuries, poisoning, bites and stings etc.) |

1-day (6 hours), course will teach you about Hygiene Laws and Regulation, Cleaning & Sanitation, Personal & Environment Hygiene, Pest Control, Food Handling & Storage Disposal, Introduction to HACCP etc. |
