General Information

The Brisbane River runs through the heart of the city. Cafes and restaurants along the river creates a relaxed atmosphere. Kayak and water ski are common activities in the Brisbane River.
Climbing the Story Bridge is a great way to see the views of the Brisbane.
From Brisbane you can drive to the coastal beaches such as the Sunshine Coast (1 hour drive) and the Gold Coast (1.5 hours drive).
Brisbane enjoys the warm tropical weather and sunshine as it is close to the tropics.
Kangaroo Point is located outside Brisbane where you can rock climb, abseil or take walks around the area.

Surfers Paradise is also in the Gold Coast and has the perfect balance of the beach and city lifestyle! The entertainment at Surfers is fantastic with the many cafes, bars and restaurants that you can choose from!

Cairns

The Great Barrier Reef

Cairns is located in North Queensland and it is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef stretches over 2,000 kilometres along the coast and is the world’s largest coral reef! You can snorkel or go scuba diving at the Reef and see all the beautiful fishes and sea creatures!

There are also tropical rainforests such as the Daintree Rainforests which has spectacular waterfalls and walking paths that can let you enjoy the scenery!

For the more adventurous, you can try 4WD at the sand dunes at Stradbroke Island or fish at one of the many fishing holes!
